Canada Election not far off; Air Canada strike likely; Tone Deaf Freeland and Andy Stinton!

Peter discusses the breakup of the NDP/Liberal voting agreement…it happened today so a vote of non-confidence will likely happen asap. But here’s the twist. Jagmeet Singh made the announcement and it came as a surprise. He believes he’s holding the cards with an incredibly weakened Justin Trudeau incapable of winning. Singh says he’s the guy to elect as Prime Minister to fend off “that wicked Pierre Poilievre”.  And Air Canada strike is likely according to experts…and the federal government is probably going to let it happen and run its course. The date is September 17th.

Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland is celebrating free lunches for 400-thousand Canadian kids. Peter asks what they did pre-budget and whether they’d actually need the lunches if the Trudeau Government was not restricting their parents ability to earn a living. Andy Stinton and Peter ask the question “have you lost friends over a Donald Trump discussion?”
